AAA Names Rochester Region Travel Director

Traci BaxBUFFALO, N.Y., June 12, 2008 - Traci Bax has been named Rochester Region Travel Director for AAA Western and Central New York. Bax has held a variety of positions with the Club, most recently Manager of Learning and Development. In her new position, she will oversee travel operations at all three Rochester AAA Travel and Insurance Centers in Pittsford, Penfield, and Greece. She has been an employee of AAA since 1993.

Bax brings extensive travel marketing experience to her new role at AAA. Previously, she served as the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Hard Rock Cafe© in Niagara Falls and the Sales Manager for the Holiday Inn Grand Island Resort Conference Center.

Bax received a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism Marketing from Niagara University and holds dual Master of Science degrees in Adult Education and Counseling from Buffalo State College and Niagara University, respectively. Bax is active in her community, serving as an adjunct professor of travel marketing at Niagara University's College of Hospitality and Tourism, and has participated in Junior Achievement's volunteer programs. She is also an active member and immediate past vice president of the American Society of Training and Development. She resides with her family in Niagara Falls.
