AAA Dewitt Travel and Insurance Center Relocates
SYRACUSE, N.Y., OCTOBER 3, 2008 -- The AAA DeWitt Travel and Insurance Center, currently located at 3175 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, is relocating to 3460 Erie Boulevard East, next to Barnes & Noble, across the street from Delta Sonic Car Wash. The new location will open for business on Monday, October 20, 2008.
“We’re excited to be opening a state-of-the-art AAA Travel and Insurance Center that is easier to locate, provides better access for our clients, and overall is more conducive to serving the needs of more members,” said Tom Chestnut, President/CEO of AAA Western and Central New York. The new location is 2.1 miles from the current location.
The AAA DeWitt Travel and Insurance Center ushers in a new look and method of taking care of members’ needs, including the AAA.com Internet Café, flat screen plasma TV’s, and an area for home and automobile insurance transactions. The AAA.com Internet Café will allow members and travelers to access AAA.com to search the travel website, request driving directions, and produce their own routes using the Internet Travel Planner. Classic TripTiks will also be available.
The phone number for the AAA DeWitt Travel and Insurance Center will remain the same at (315) 446-3134. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A special Grand Opening will be celebrated at a later date. AAA has been in its current East Genesee Street location for 19 years.
