Second annual AAA Insurance Scholarship for Community Excellence to award $4,500 in 2010

BUFFALO, N.Y., October 7, 2009 – AAA Members Insurance Agency is seeking applications from local high school seniors for the AAA Insurance Scholarship for Community Excellence. The deadline for consideration is December 1, 2009 and applications are available for download by visiting www.AAA.com/insurance.

Now in its second year, the AAA Insurance Scholarship for Community Excellence will be awarded to six graduating high school seniors that demonstrate excellence in academics and community involvement and plan to attend a college, university or accredited technical school in New York State.

Three $1,000 first place scholarships and three $500 second place scholarships will be awarded in each region of AAA Western and Central New York’s territory, including the areas of greater Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.
