HOW TO ENTER
No Purchase is necessary. You do not need to be a AAA member to enter and you may enter as many photographs as you like by following the entry rules. Entries must be in a digital form only. There are two ways to enter AAA's TopShot Digital Photography Contest.
Required Information
(1) Your full name, mailing address, email address, phone number
(2) Your best digital travel photograph
(3) An original personal story or caption between 100-150 words that
describes where you were traveling and any travel tips you can offer
about your destination.
Online Entry
Simply log onto AAA.com/GP and follow the online instructions to upload your best digital travel photograph from your computer. Images formatted in JPEG or TIFF measuring at least 1,000 pixels on their long dimension are preferred. Images may be color profiled in sRGB, Adobe-1998, or not color-managed.
CD ROM Entry
Submissions will also be accepted on CD ROM. No photographic prints
will be accepted, returned, or acknowledged. It is the sole
responsibility of the entrant to have prints scanned for submission.

ENTRY RULES
Sponsor of the TOPSHOT Travel Photography contest is AAA Western and Central New York. There is no limit or term for submissions to the contest and AAA WCNY reserves the right to suspend or cancel the contest at any time. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.
The photo and a personal story, in their entirety, must be single works of original material created by the contest entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph and essay are original works created solely by the entrant and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the essay or photograph.
Obscene, provocative, or otherwise objectionable content will not be considered, and such determination is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
JUDGING
The photograph and personal story will be judged by AAA Western and
Central New York editorial staff based on the following criteria:
1) A clear depiction of a place, person, or event that celebrates a travel experience.
2) An excellent photograph with good composition, clarity of idea, and interesting subject matter.
3) Overall quality of personal story or caption.
Decisions of the Judges are final. Personal stories may be edited for
both content and length. Photographs may be resized or color corrected
for publication.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete or illegible e-mail, or for any computer-related, online, telephonic, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, or obtained through fraud or theft. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
PRIZES
TOPSHOT prizes include publication in AAA Going Places magazine and/or posting on AAA.com. Prizes are of no monetary value.
LICENSE/RELEASE
Winning entries, and the winners' names may be published by Sponsor or its licensees or affiliates in one of Sponsor's magazines, or Web site, or in any other medium in relation to editorial, publicity or advertising relating to the Contest or future promotions, all without compensation or approval. By participating, all entrants grant a license in the entries to Sponsor and/or its licensees or affiliates (the "Authorized Parties"), and acknowledge that any Authorized Party may use the entries and a name credit in any media now or hereafter known, without the restriction, in editorial, publicity or advertising relating to the Contest or future promotions. Additionally, by participating, each entrant grants to Authorized Parties the unrestricted right to use all statements made in connection with the Contest, and pictures, or choose not to do so, at their sole discretion.
RIGHT TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND CONTEST
If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless AAA Western and Central New York and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to contest entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest.
CONDITIONS
This Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Certain restrictions may apply. Entries void if the Sponsor determines the photograph or essay to not be an original, or if the entries are illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error or obtained through fraud or theft.
Participants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) that the decisions of the Judges are final on all matters relating to the Contest; and (c) if he/she wins that Sponsor may use the winning photographs and/or written essay and each winner's name and photograph in any publicity or advertising relating to the Contest or future promotions without compensation or approval.
