Membership Sales Representative

Under the direction of Membership Marketing provides telephone sales via outbound telemarketing to existing Club members. This position requires evening hours.
- Secure membership renewal from existing members.
- Contact new members under the Club’s on-boarding strategy
- Up-sell/cross sell other Club products and service as appropriate
- Collect demographic and contact information about current members
- Assist in the training of new Membership Sales Representatives
- Participate in Club sponsored training and testing programs as recommended.

High school education or equivalent experience. Outbound calling experience and demonstrated results from outbound campaigns required. Ability to learn new product sets quickly. Thorough knowledge of Club operations, membership products and pricing and club benefits. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and functional keyboarding skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer required.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Proficient with all high school equivalent mathematics.
Performs many reasoning activities under time constraints and pressure. Ability to gather information from members and relate AAA products and services to their needs. Ability to convey membership product and benefits information in a clear, concise manner. Ability to resolve problems and conflicts involving complex situations. Must possess creative problem solving techniques. Employees in this department are regularly monitored with feedback to enhance performance. Various position-related testing is completed for all employees to enhance job knowledge and performance.
